Already serving a 30-year prison sentence after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking, R. Kelly is currently on trial for a separate set of federal charges of child pornography and obstruction of justice.
But as he braces himself for the potential bad news to come from that courtroom showdown, one of his alleged former sex abuse victims – Joycelyn Savage – is doubling down on her news that she went half on a baby with the disgraced R&B lgend.
On the promo trail in support of her recently released memoir, ‘Love and Joy of Robert,’ Savage dropped jaws when she admitted she’s not only engaged to Kelly but that the two are expecting a child.
He quickly shut down the report via a rep (as we reported here), but – as revealed via a recent chat with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ – Savage is adamant she’s telling the truth.
Taking to ET, Savage shared a photo of her sonogram and confirmed she is ‘very excited’ to be five months pregnant with a baby girl. Kelly is already a father of 3 (Jaah, Joanna, and Robert Kelly, Jr.).
“When he got sent to prison, we paused on it and I had them freeze my eggs until I was ready,” Savage told ET. “Once his lawyer did find out, she wanted me to have an abortion because she didn’t feel that now was the time for me to have a child following the 30-year sentence. Me and Robert wanted to have a child for a long time. He is very happy about it, his lawyer isn’t. Once I told her I was keeping my baby, she didn’t want me to announce but I wanted to share the news. I’ve always been there for him even before this new lawyer came into the picture.”
As of time reported, Kelly nor his legal team have responded to the 26-year-old’s latest comments.
Absolutely tragic if true. You are 26 yrs old tied down with a 50+ yr old man going to prison for s** trafficking and possibly child pornography.
