Elton John may already one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music, but the 75-year-old ‘Rocket Man’ keeps proving his commercial journey still has miles to go.
After linking with Pop diva Dua Lipa to crank out one of last year’s biggest hits, ‘Cold Heart,’ John is looking to pull a redo with yet another female Pop titan: Britney Spears.
First reported to be a rework of Elton’s 1971 classic ‘Tiny Dancer,’ the new tune – ‘Hold Me Closer’ – was overseen by GRAMMY-winning producer Andrew Watt.
Marking the first release of new music from Spears since the release of her 2016 album ‘Glory,’ hop inside to hear ‘Hold.’

The reverb is up high as a kite on Britneys vocals, it literally doesn’t sound like her at all. Nonetheless the song is nice.

Black folks throw their stars to the wolves if they don’t like one song or album smh. Britney has been flopping for over a decade, but white folks will die before they let one of their stars fall off.

Records like “Work B*tch” & “Gimmie More” is one of the reasons, so many POP artists have came on the scene and dominated. She lacks consistency.
