Taking to press, this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart was announced and on it was Minaj’s ‘Super Freaky Girl.’ The song blasts up the chart moving from #45 last week to #35 this week.
The large increase at radio comes from 1,120 spins during the August 14-20 tracking week, besting last week’s numbers by 876.
Moreover, the song becomes the ‘Super Bass’ rapper’s first solo song to be serviced to pop radio since her song ‘The Night Is Still Young.’
Additionally, the news comes as ‘Super Freaky Girl’ is expected to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming her third chart-topper and first solo song to do so.
