Megan Thee Stallion sprung quite the surprise on her beloved fans, affectionately called #Hotties, Thursday (August 11) when she revealed her long-awaited sophomore album ‘Traumazine’ would drop the next day.
The follow-up to 2020’s ‘Good News,’ word of the arrival of its successor served as good news as well – a report trumped only by the revelation of its star-studded guest list which includes Dua Lipa, Future, Key Glock, Rico Nasty, Latto, Pooh Shiesty, and Jhené Aiko.
Speaking on the new album, Meg said she wants to take listeners on an emotional journey.
“I want to take you through so many different emotions,” she told ‘Rolling Stone.’ “At first you was twerking, now you might be crying…I just always want people to remember, ‘Yes, Megan Thee Stallion, she was great, she was a rapper. She was one of the best rappers, the coldest.’”

“I just watched the lyrics video. While I don’t praise the sexual content, Nicki still got the bars, the words-play that makes a catchy line. The vocals are great, nobody can’t say that Nicki doesn’t know how to use her skills for sure. The instrumental is legendary, perfect for the summer.”

I’m not particularly a fan, but she’s rapping her A** off on these records!! Even if it’s more or less the same subject matter.
It’s not mind-blowing but it’s good. NDA is a decent opener and Her definitely needs to be the next single but the second half is more interesting than the first part – she couldve chopped some stuff. But thank God Pressurelicious is the worst song on it lol some of these songs have poppier productions and I wasn’t expecting that!
Oh Paulo, I was rooting for her at one point but I just feel like I don’t care to even give it a listen 🤦🏽♀️ Marks out of 5? Is it worth my time?
Out of 5? A solid 3. I think you could be positively surprised by the second half! The first half is a bit more of what we heard on Something For Thee Hotties
Now i’m gonna play that album and see how it sounds like because i’m not lazy like some.
After just a first listen, favorites for now:
– Ungrateful (sh*t that sound is dope)
– Not Nice (what a mood girl, love it)
– Her (nice club sound!)
– Gift & a Curse (hot sh*t!)
The manga visuals for each song is pretty cool, love it.
Ok this is pretty decent better than her debut and sonically she step out her comfort zone. I like the album
Ok Meg is spitting on some of these tracks & the production is good. That was one of my main complaints about her… cheap production. She’s still rapping about her wet p**** but In general this project is better than Bad News.
Nicki is so selfish! If I was meg I was have dropped a freestyle shading the f out of her. Every time a female rapper release anything she always wants to take the shine . 🤦♂️!! It’s giving I still want to be the only girl ..
Ummm Nicki announced her release date before Meg. If I’m not mistaken it was a surprise release!!! Anyway Nicki is gonna come out on top as always soooo it doesn’t matter. Nicki the glass, Cardi the coaster and Meg is a spec of dirt on the floor. 😛
