Popular YouTuber Suing Nicki Minaj’s Barbz Speaks Out About Harassment & Kidnapping Threats

While ‘Barbie Dreams’ hitmaker Nicki Minaj has promised to turn life into a nightmare for detractors who speak falsehoods on her name on the Web (see:  blogger Nosey Heaux), a popular YouTuber is taking a page from the GRAMMY nominee’s book and taking aim at her beloved fans – the Barbz.

Details inside.

Harvard graduate and content creator Kimberly Nicole Foster, founder of the YouTube-based platform For.Harriet, claims she was severely harassed by the Barbz for openly criticizing Minaj.

“Nicki is so clearly a horrible person,” Foster tweeted on September 12. “Negativity sticks to her like glue. [I don’t know] if we’ve ever seen this before.”

The post eventually landed on Barbz’ radar and has since earned over 20K likes as well as a number of negative comments about Foster.  Some of those responses have even included her leaked personal contact information as well as threatening language.

Taking to ‘The Daily Beast’ recently to recount the harassment, Kimberly spoke candidly about the alarming commentary that eventually led her to pursue legal action.

“It was normal, annoying stuff where I was like, ‘OK, block and move on,’” Foster shared. “The messages became more threatening and dark, and then it started to be, ‘We’re gonna find you. I’m gonna kidnap you, I hope you get raped.”

And while the ‘For.Harriet’ creator has no intention to name Nicki in the pending suit (as of time reported), she’s aware Minaj has been “liking” some of the hateful Twitter posts that are geared toward her – an action that suggests she is supporting and encouraging the concerning behavior.

At writing, Foster is said to still be collecting information about the Barbz who she believes have taken it too far.

“There’s an understanding among the Barbz that the harder they go for her – the more virulent the nastiness – there’s more of an opportunity for her to recognize them,” she revealed to ‘Beast’ while revealing some of Minaj’s fans have even threatened to hurt her young nieces as their schools.

The defendants in the forthcoming suit have not been named yet as Kimberly believes the lawyers don’t have the clearest path forward.

“In the conversations I’ve had…, I’ve learned more and more how little precedent there is about online harassment,” Foster told The Daily Beast. “A lot of the lawyers I’m talking to are guessing, because there’s just not a lot of case law. Most people are not willing to spend the time and the money to see this stuff through. I’m absolutely willing to do that.”
