Sam Smith and Kim Petras appear to have a hit on their hands.
Case in point, their song ‘Unholy’ is pacing towards a big debut in the UK.

Per the Official Charts Company (OCC), the song is currently set to debut at #2, only bested by David Guetta and Bebe Rexha‘s ‘I’m Good (Blue).’
With time left in the tracking week, the company goes on to report that only a “handful of units” separate the two singles.
If ‘Unholy’ manages to claim the top spot, then it would become Smith’s eighth #1 single in the country and their first since 2018.
As for Petras, it would become her first-ever chart-topper in the country.
