Ashanti is turning the volume up on her side of the story Irv Gotti recently poured out about their alleged relationship.
As reported, the Murder Inc mogul spilled all sorts of allegations about his former protégé during a now-viral appearance on Drink Champs.
Gotti made many a remark about the GRAMMY winner, including (but not limited to) claims that they were romantically involved and that she betrayed him. He also referred to Ashanti as a “b*tch” multiple times during the segment.
Now, in a sit-down rebuttal interview with Angie Martinez, the songbird is setting the record straight.

Speaking to the veteran anchor, Ashanti declares: “it wasn’t surprising to me. Irv has flat out lied about a number of things.”
