Kanye West‘s unraveling continued today.
The rapper has been under fire after making racially charged and culturally insensitive remarks about both the Jewish community and the Black Lives Matter movement.
And the backlash shows no signs of letting up – largely because West isn’t.

Moments ago, a clip of Ye’s new interview with Piers Morgan surfaced and it sees the host taking the rapper to task for saying he wanted to go “death con 3” on Jewish people.
When asked squarely whether he regrets what he said, the MC smiled and replied “no, absolutely not.”
In a bizarre twist moments later, he remarked that he is a “different kind of freedom fighter” and ultimately was apologetic for “any hurt caused” and that he only wants to go “death con 3” on the (Jewish) people who did him wrong. West declared that he “fights fire with fire.”

The interview comes less than 24 hours after it was announced that George Floyd‘s young daughter Gianna – by way of her mom Roxie Washington and representing legal team – are gearing up to sue West to the tune of $250 million for the remarks he made about the unarmed Black man’s death.
Floyd’s shocking murder (at the hands of convicted former police officer Derek Chauvin) shocked the world and ignited a global call for more marked measures against racism. It’s widely considered to be one of the cases at the heart of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Yet, during a recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, West claimed Floyd’s death wasn’t a result of Chauvin’s knee (which was rammed into the deceased’s neck for 9 minutes). Instead, the performer declared that Floyd’s use of Fentanyl was the cause.
Per TMZ, Washington is seeking the gargantuan sum for the harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress West caused with his comments on the popular platform.
