With the countdown to the February 12, 2023 kickoff of Super Bowl LVII well underway, buzz continues to brew for what’s in store for the sports spectacle’s halftime show headlined by Rihanna.
The Pop gods are clearly answering prayers.
Just weeks after reports surfaced Beyonce and Taylor Swift are readying their respective stadium tours for 2023, word has it Rihanna is throwing her name in the hat of music megastars slated to do the same.
“Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé are among the superstars due to mount stadium tours in 2023, along with Ed Sheeran, Dead & Company (allegedly their “farewell”), Luke Combs and—after a very successful arena run—BLACKPINK, to name a few,” revealed a recent story by HitsDailyDouble Thursday (October 13).
Although unconfirmed by Rih at the time of the article’s publishing, the story isn’t far-fetched as many previous Super Bowl Halftime Show headliners – including Beyonce, Madonna, Shakira, and others – have used the football championship as a preview of and announcement launching pad for their tours that followed.
If proven true, the stadium world trek will act as the perfect place to showcase the long-awaited new tunes set to line the 34-year-old’s next opus, which will reportedly be spread across TWO albums.
We here for anything Queen Rih
