Tamar Braxton’s Latest Gospel Effort, ‘The Glory,’ Is a Must-Add To Your Sunday Playlist [Listen]

Published: Sunday 23rd Oct 2022 by Rashad

Only a faith leader the magnitude of Bishop T.D. Jakes could assemble a star-studded Gospel album that shines with the megawatt talent Timbaland, Sheila E. Fred Jerkins, and more for his latest album, the September 19-released ‘Finally Loosed.

Designed to tribute the final of his famous ‘Woman, Thou Art Loosed’ conferences held the same month, ‘Loosed’ was produced by Jakes alongside Stanley Brown, Dr. Oscar Williams, Marcus Dawson, and Skip Barrett.

And while the 8-song set assembles some of the biggest names in Gospel and secular music to line its tracklist, a clear standout comes from GRAMMY-nominated powerhouse Tamar Braxton.

Teamed with New Breed, look inside to hear her stunning tune ‘The Glory.’

For Braxton, ‘Glory’ comes as yet another return to her musical roots and is added to her previously critically acclaimed take on the classic Gospel tune, ‘Be Grateful,’ as well as ‘Thank You Lord’ – which is found on her 2013 album, ‘Love & War’ (a top 20 hit on the genre’s Billboard charts).

For Jakes, ‘Loosed’ is the first effort from his Dexterity Sounds record label’s distribution deal with Roc Nation.

“The team at Roc Nation have been a global force in shaping the music industry and telling stories through life music,” said the globally renowned faith leader. “‘Finally Loosed’ is an album meant to provide hope, encouragement, and inspiration to people who need to be lifted up. The distribution of our album by Roc Nation helps expand the popularity of inspirational music backed by the global reach of streaming and digital media.”
