Taylor Swift‘s fans have been lapping up the singer’s tenth album ‘Midnights’ with the swiftness.
And that’s more than a convenient pun. It’s quite literally a fact.
For, the freshly unwrapped project is now tracking towards even bigger first-week sales than initially anticipated.

As reported, the LP was projected to launch with between 1 million to 1.2 million equivalent units in the US – easily delivering the year’s highest debut.
Now, Hits Daily Double confirms that such is the feverish consumption of the album that the number increased to:
1.4 Million to 1.6 Million
The news comes on the heels of the 32-year-old smashing streaming records on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
Equally potent with traditional units, Swift has savvily made a multitude of iterations of the album available across various formats – including CD and vinyl. These include the Moonstone Blue Edition, Jade Green Edition, Blood Moon Edition, and Mahogany Edition.
‘Midnights’ looks set to become Swift’s fifth album to premiere with sales in excess of 1 million.
