21 Savage may be enjoying a love fest with his ‘Her Loss’ counterpart Drake as the two have landed atop this week’s Billboard 200 with the year’s biggest first-week sales for a Hip-Hop album, but a number of other emcees can’t exactly say they’ve been feeling the love from the Atlanta-reared rapper lately.

Just days after ruffling the feathers of G Herbo, Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, and others by suggesting he’d easily defeat them in a VERZUZ battle (as we reported here), the 30-year-old was quoted on Clubhouse referring to Rap legend Nas as irrelevant.
“I don’t feel like he’s relevant. I just feel like he got a loyal fan base. He still makes good music,” 21 said of the ‘Illmatic‘ icon.
After unceremonious slams from critics, including fans of Nas, 21 took to Twitter Monday night (November 14) to clarify his divisive comment.
“I would never disrespect Nas or any legend who paved the way for me,” he told his 4.7 million followers on the platform. “Y’all be tryna take stuff and run with it.”
At the time of this report Nas has not responded to the slick diss. His brother, on the other hand, didn’t shy away from clapping back at Savage.

He didn’t lie. Nas isn’t relevant to this generation. The last Nas song I remember was I Know I Can that came out when I was in elementary school no shade.
. His name just isn’t being mentioned by this generation of rappers. But this generation knows who NAS is.
But there is a way to choose your words, something this new generation doesn’t seem to care about. They just want to run their mouths and constantly feed their own egos. The lack of respect is sad because only it shows is 21 Savage wants to believe he’s on cultural icon status like Nas but quietly knows he’s not and never will be.
I know no 21 Savage lyrics nor song. He may never make legend status.

Nas never had a huge radio hit worldwide but is known globally for being a rap legend.
21 only made headlines worldwide for going to jail then for hopping on Drika’s p****. There’s no way to spin him calling Nas irrelevant as anything but spite and delusion
Knowledge/Wisdom will ALWAYS keep a man relevant sweetheart.
People like 21 Savage are 10 steps behind until their dumbasss finally catch up. Unfortunately a lot of them won’t live long enough for this to happen.
