Aaron Carter: State of California To Decide Who Inherits Estate

Published: Monday 14th Nov 2022 by Ryan

After passing away earlier this month, the state of California is now getting into the affairs of Aaron Carter.

More details below…

Per TMZ, the late singer did not have a will, so the state of California is stepping in and is now deciding who is responsible to inherit his estate.

Carter has one son with his fiancée Melanie and the child has been living with her mother since September.

While there is no will in place, it is likely that Carter’s son will inherit his dad’s estate since California law states that a child is first in line to inherit a parent’s estate if the parent passes away without a will.

Despite his popularity in the early 2000’s, a source told TMZ that Carter’s finances were not the best and that he was “living hand-to-mouth and would typically spend what he earned in short order.”

After his passing, Aaron’s brother Nick broke his silence on his death and asked that God take care of his younger brother.

Breaks my heart. Wish we’d somehow take ALL our wealth with us after death.
