Bad Bunny’s ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ Becomes First Spanish-Language Album to Score Album of the Year Nomination

The nominations for the 65th GRAMMY Awards has been announced and in the coveted category of Album of the Year, Bad Bunny scored his first nomination with ‘Un Verano Sin Ti.’

With this nomination, Bad Bunny officially scores the first Spanish-language album to earn a nomination in the category of Album of the Year.

Only two other Hispanic artists have been nominated in this category before, that being Santana and Cardi B.

While he was snubbed from the other major categories, Bad Bunny did score a nod for Best Música Urbana Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.
