Per Billboard, ‘Midnights’ spends a second week atop the coveted Billboard 200 chart with an additional 342,000 equivalent album units earned this week.
With such a large sum sold in its second week, Swift now has the distinct honor of scoring the biggest second week sales of the year. Moreover, it scores the biggest second week sales for an album since Adele‘s ’25’ moved 1.162 million units in is second frame.
This comes after she already scored the biggest sales week of the year when ‘Midnights’ made its debut last week with 1.578 million units.
Additionally, Swift now holds two out of the three biggest sales weeks of the year. ‘Harry’s House’ by Harry Styles is currently in the #2 position with 521,000, while Swift occupies #1 and #3.
What’s more, in its second week ‘Midnights’ sold more albums than than the albums that landed from #2-#7 on the chart combined.
The news comes as her song ‘Anti-Hero’ leads the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week.
