Megan Thee Stallion Is the First Black Woman to Cover Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′ / Confirms World Tour & New Album for 2023

Published: Tuesday 29th Nov 2022 by Rashad

Megan Thee Stallion, known to some as the “Hot Girl Coach,” blazed the pages of Forbes’ latest ’30 Under 30′ issue – making history along the way as its first Black female covergirl.

Having reportedly raked in $13 million dollars over the year thanks to sales from her sophomore album, ‘Traumazine,’ as well as endorsement deals with Nike, Frito-Lay, Revlon, and others, the sum made her one of the year’s top earners in entertainment (for her age group).

And while she recently made headlines for booking a break due to the demands of her whirlwind schedule, Meg told the finance mag that her securement of the bag has only begun.

More inside.

When not reflecting over the mega-success of her 2022 Super Bowl Ad for Frito-Lay, Forbes recounted a number of financial wins Stallion galloped to over the last year including deals with Cash App and Popeyes.

Those moves are just the beginning, let the GRAMMY winner tell it.

“I can’t slow down right now,” she says. “I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something.” She adds, “When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”

To ensure she remains in front of the race, Forbes reports Stallion is saddling up for a new album – the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Traumazine’ – and a world tour to support the forthcoming project, both said to be in the works for next year.  The global jaunt will mark her first of such stature as a headliner.

At writing there is no specific launch date attached to either venture.

Elsewhere on her list of things to do in 2023 is that heavily-reported Netflix deal that will see her create and produce a slate of shows (including a comedy based on her childhood). As if that’s not enough, the Rap diva is said to be working with Time Inc. on a biographical documentary.

World tour??? Her last album bombed and none of the singles charted in the upper or even mid regions of the charts. She struggled to even get views on YT. She peaked in 2020. It’s over for her.
