The linking of two Hip-Hop titans is bringing with it some titanic success aboard music sales and streaming platforms.

As reported here, chart-topping rappers Drake and 21 Savage – after years of collaborating on individual tracks – dropped a full-length joint effort titled ‘Her Loss.’

And while Travis Scott acts as the effort’s sole feature, the 16-track LP has a star-studded list of production contributors that includes Metro Boomin, Lil Yachty, Noah “40” Shebib, Boi-1da, and more.

Together, the collaborators have not only crafted one of the year’s most critically acclaimed Hip-Hop endeavors but also – according to industry analysts – one of 2022’s top-selling.

Details inside.

Drake & 21 Savage’s ‘Her Loss’

Predicted First-Week Sales (SPS):  335,000-350,000 units

Predicted Billboard 200 Debut:  #1

Per a refreshed HitsDailyDouble report, Drizzy and Savage won’t be taking any losses any time soon with ‘Her Loss’ as the set is projected to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 week after next thanks to inaugural sales north of 335,000.

If the prediction should prove true, the figures will mark the highest first-week sum of any Hip-Hop project 2022 has seen so far.  The previously record-holder was Kendrick Lamar with the 295,000 units shifted by his latest opus, ‘Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.’

Overall, ‘Loss’ is poised to join the exclusive club of the year’s albums that sold over 300,000 in their first seven days – a list that presently includes Taylor Swift‘s 1.5 million-seller ‘Midnights,’ Harry Styles’ 521,000 first-week seller ‘Harry’s House,’ BTS’ ‘Proof’ (314,000), and Beyonce‘s ‘Renaissancewith 332,000.

The win is of particular note for Drake who already captured a Billboard 200 chart-topper this year with his surprise-released dance record, ‘Honestly, Nevermind.’
