2023 is shaping up to be quite the busy year for R&B veteran Monica.
As she reportedly puts the finishing touches on her long-awaited ninth studio effort, ‘Trenches,’ as well as a Country album, the GRAMMY winner is said to be bringing another delayed project back to the forefront: her Apple Music radio show ‘Mo Talk.’

Nearly two years after its original arrival date, ‘Mo Talk’ is set to take a bite out of Apple Music airwaves in February 2023 (according to our buds at Rated RnB).
At the time of its 2020 announcement, the R&B diva gleamed about the chance to bring her voice to radio in a new way.
“I have taken the need for this to be far more than a radio show with a playlist only into in-depth consideration,” Monica relayed on Facebook in September 2020. “We want interactive segments that allow our listeners & viewers to obtain information that they wouldn’t usually, experience great interviews all while having a great time listening to their favorite songs, both throwback & current!”
Though she did not detail what’s caused its initial delay, she always promised it would eventually make its way to the public. It looks like she’s keeping her word.
The reveal of the radio show’s reported premiere date is just one of many things to get Mo’s fans amped for 2023 as it’s rumored that ‘Trenches,’ her first studio effort since 2015’s ‘Code Red,’ will be finally delivered next year as well.
