Just weeks after performing and collecting her inaugural win at the 2022 Soul Train Awards (as we reported here), Muni Long gives viewers who missed her stunning showcase there another chance to see her take vocal flight – this time on Tuesday night’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ (December 13).
As the night’s musical guest, Long – who also recently garnered her first set of GRAMMY nods – showed up and out with a live take on fan favorite ‘Time Machine’ (found aboard her debut album ‘Public Displays of Affection’).

I really want to be a fan of hers but something is missing. I do commend her efforts at giving us performances. Vocally she isn’t that strong but she’s committed to giving us that good R&B sound….
Perhaps Ms.Long should stick to the songwriting and publishing checks because THAT performance WAS LACKING and she was the weak link…
Her only good song is Hours & Hours I fear. Her moment came and went….
