Godmother of Soul Patti LaBelle may have brought her brigade of hits to Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater Saturday evening (December 10), but she could barely get through her set of classics before being rushed off stage due to a reported bomb threat.

As seen in the fan-captured video above, the R&B legend was interacting with excited concertgoers when her security detail unexpectedly rushed her off the stage.
Milwaukee Police issued a notice that there had been a bomb threat and all patrons were to be immediately evacuated.
By 10p EST Saturday night, authorities confirmed everyone – including the GRAMMY-winning diva – had been removed from the facility.
At writing, investigations are still ongoing as to who caused the commotion. LaBelle has yet to issue a statement on the matter.
