Jennifer Lopez may be hot on the promo trail for the January 27 premiere of her new film ‘Shotgun Wedding‘ (also starring Josh Duhamel), but the Pop diva recently strolled down memory lane to reflect on another wedding-like ceremony she was almost a part of.

Taking to E! News, J.Lo reflected on how her busy schedule at the time kept her from being part of one of TV’s most iconic live happenings – the 2003 MTV VMAs onstage kiss of Queen of Pop Madonna with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
“I was filming a movie in Canada, and we had met—me, [Madonna] and Britney—to do it at her home,” Lopez said. “And then, I just couldn’t get off the film, and so, we couldn’t do it.”
Jennifer suggests she doesn’t have any hard feelings about missing the opportunity, however.
“We had talked about it,” J.Lo continued. “I love Madonna. I’m a huge fan. I always have been.”
Ironically, Aguilera – who was literally almost left out of the unforgettable moment – later admitted she felt “left out” anyway given how infrequently she was mentioned in the massive press coverage that followed.
