With the shock of Takeoff‘s death still reverberating, the late rapper’s Migos bandmate Quavo has released a new song in tribute.
Christened ‘Without You,’ the emotional track arrived alongside a studio-based video in which the MC reflects on the bond they shared – not just as members of the group, but as family too.
Quavo raps:
“Tears rolling down my eyes, can’t tell you how many times I cried.
Days ain’t the same without you
Ion know if I’m the same without you.”
Take a listen…
The release of ‘Without You’ comes as Patrick Xavier Clark, the man charged with shooting and killing Takeoff at a party in Houston on November 1, 2022, was released from custody on $1 million bail.
Clark, who has maintained his innocence despite compelling evidence to the contrary, is set to stand trial later this year.
Shawty is a KILLA
How can he deny killing that man
Quavo gotta watch himself if his killer is out of jail
It should have been him
Then it should be you. That’s his family
RIP TAKEOFF
