The legendary legacies of Missy Elliott and George Michael have been saluted in a major way today.
For, the superstars are among those officially nominated for possible induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame‘s Class of 2023.

Moments ago, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the full list of nominees for the 2023 class.
As is custom, the tally blends names who’ve been nominated before (such as three-time nominee Kate Bush) and first-timers like Elliott.
The official inductees will be announced in May and a televised ceremony for them will take place and air in the fall.
