Lil Jon is not happy with Live Nation. For, he is now threatening a lawsuit over the ‘Lovers and Friends’ festival.

The ‘Get Low’ rapper’s lawyer has officially sent a letter to Live Nation in the hopes to reach a settlement over the name of the festival since it shares the same as his hit with Usher and Ludacris.
According to TMZ, Jon was in talks to license the name to the festival in 2022 for a fee. He claims that he “trusted Live Nation to do the right thing.”
However, Jon has since “lost that trust, and has decided that the issue has been deferred long enough, and that either a resolution or litigation must occur immediately.”
Jon’s lawyer, Edwin McPherson stated that: “Live Nation has done everything possible to work around Lil Jon, and not with him, while stealing the name/title with which he has been closely associated for almost two decades.”
The festival announced that it would be coming back this year with such artists as: Mariah Carey, Usher, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, and more.
