Over a decade after she teamed with Stellar Award-winning star James Fortune for the Gospel chart-topping hit, ‘Hold On,’ the dynamic duo have reunited for the new song ‘Trusting God.’
Due on digital shelves Friday (March 3), the song comes as the first taste of new music Mo fans have gotten this year and follows her well-received, 2022 R&B single Ty Dolla $ign duet ‘Friends.’
In the comments of the post announcing the forthcoming arrival of the Gospel tune, Fortune couldn’t help but praise the GRAMMY winner’s vocal performance.
“The way you SANG this song!! Legendary!!!!,” he exclaimed before she responded, “Thank you so much!!! It’s an honor to be apart of it all…”

James has been laying low ever since his scandal a few years ago. I doubt this song will make any noise. He’s an evil man and I hate that Monica worked with him again. Furthermore she should stop making empty promises to her fans. Trenches the album needs to be scrapped at this point in order to come up with a new project. She dropped so many release dates and times over the years to no avail. Yet she can be a video girl for ratchet rappers and drop new photoshoots every other day. Monica is a huge disappointment.
