It may be early in the year, but Kelly Rowland is already booked, busy, and has the holiday season in mind.
For, the multihyphenate force has reteamed with Lifetime for another installment of the festive film franchise ‘Merry Liddle Christmas.’

It’s been announced that Ms. Kelly will both star in and this time executive produce the forthcoming flick ‘Merry Liddle Christmas Vacation.’
The GRAMMY winner returns in the role of Jacquie, who gave birth to twins in 2021’s ratings winner ‘Merry Liddle Christmas Baby.’ This new ‘Liddle’ chapter will follow the clan as they head on a family vacation for the holidays. Production will commence later this year.
Speaking on film and her amplified involvement behind the camera too, Rowland said:
“The Liddle Christmas story has literally become a big part of my own family’s Christmas. I love sitting with my family and friends to watch the films, and I am always happy to get back on set with these amazing actors who have become family. To wear two hats as executive producer and actress is always challenging and exciting. I cannot wait for everyone to see the next beautiful adventure.”
Lifetime’s EVP, Scripted Content, Tanya Lopez added:
“We are so ecstatic for the next movie of this fantastic holiday movie franchise and keep the story of the Liddles going. People have fallen in love with this family, and we are thrilled to continue to evolve their story with our incredible partner and star Kelly Rowland.”

One minor correction though; Kelly has been an executive producer from the very beginning. This is truly HER film franchise. The first movie was literally inspired by an actual holiday fiasco that Kelly had with her own extended family. She brought the story to Lifetime. They loved the pitch, partnered with her, and gave her a budget to produce the first film. It became a hit, and here we are, 4 films later, and Kelly is still wearing her executive producer hat. This is not new. Kelly has been producing creative works for a while now (Chasing Destiny, the “Liddles” holiday franchise, and the new up&coming film with Tyler Perry. She has a producer credit for all of these projects). She’s ‘dat chick’. All we need now, is for her to produce a Donna Summer biopic 😃.
