Chloe Bailey is on the cusp of release debut solo album ‘In Pieces’ and is drumming up buzz with the release of the video of the LP’s title track.
In the run-up to today’s premiere, the 24-year-old previewed the project by way of singles ‘Pray It Away,’ and ‘How Does It Feel’ featuring Chris Brown. She also delighted fans by dropping ‘Body Do.’
The simple yet effective visual for ‘In Pieces’ finds Bailey in an emotional space as she lays her feelings bare.

I think she probably had the desire as a child, but seeing the music industry, I’m sure she’s jaded and can continue acting.
I feel NO passion whatsoever. Feels like she’s doing this to fulfill a Parkwood Entertainment contract and will “part ways” amicably after.
This is the best song she’s released since Treat Me too bad it’s gonna fall upon deaf ears. Not even 100k views in 5 hours. Not looking good for Chloe. Many people weren’t feeling it but I liked the Have Mercy, Treat Me “empire music” vibe she had going on. She had her own quirky, sometimes noisy but cute style. Now it seems like she’s just throwing whatever to see what sticks which does nothing for her brand.

Actually this song is not bad at all. As a ballad, miles away from “Lift Me Up” – now THAT is an awful song LOL. Some of y’all just hating. Now I do agree that the release strategy seems all over the place, but with the right push this could get some traction on pop radio. I like this and “Body Do”. I will be listening on Friday…
