As an anchoring member of R&B royalty Xscape, LaTocha Scott has been in the spotlight for three decades.
However, 2023 has seen the vocalist come under scrutiny like never before.
Indeed, LaTocha has found herself at the center of jaw-dropping drama on the hit Bravo series ‘SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B.’
The lion’s share of the chaos has been between the songbird and sister Tamika Scott – who accused her sibling of stealing $30,000 worth of royalties on the show.
Then there’s also the lingering issues between LaTocha and Kandi Burruss, both of whom admit they’ve never got on.
With the feud exploding on social media (by way of shocking interviews, claims of blackmail, and more), it appears LaTocha – who is embarking on a solo Gospel career – has reached the end of her tether.
For, taking to Instagram Live moments ago, she broke down as she unpacked her feelings about the situation.

Speaking through tears, she asked “how do you all know I’m strong enough to handle this? I feel so alone.”
During the address, she issued an apology to her group members and vowed to “fix” her and Tamika’s relationship – while still maintaining that she doesn’t understand the claims about the “$30,000” and has been “reaching out” for…clarity.
Elsewhere, on the topic of her husband Rocky Bivens – who has been accused of fathering a child out of wedlock – she revealed that they have an “open marriage.” A reality she wanted to keep private.

First of all is so sad that this is a situation between sisters that started this. Second of all I noticed there wasn’t much said in this about the sisters situation. Third why would you ever agree to an open marriage when u claim Jesus so much! Fourth, now if u didn’t know about ur sister’s check. You’re right and until there’s accountability for the theft their fans are going to remain frustrated with both sisters because the public pays them with their hard-earned money that allows them to drive expensive cars and live in luxury homes. Therefore they do owe their fans accountability regarding this matter in the form of restitution or prosecution.
