Taking to press, Billboard announced that ‘Like Crazy’ has officially debuted at #1 on the Hot 100.
The song becomes the 1,148th #1 single and the first South Korean solo artist to reach the #1 spot. What’s more, he also makes history as the first soloist to score a solo Hot 100 debut breaking out of a group that has also debuted at #1 on the chart.
He was able to do so with the year’s biggest sales to date. The song sold 254,000 song downloads and CD singles combined, making it the biggest sales week since Taylor Swift sold 328,000 copies of her song ‘Anti-Hero’ from her ‘Midnights’ album.
