Listen: Kelly Clarkson Drops New Songs ‘Mine’ & ‘Me’ / Unlocks Tracklist of New Album ‘Chemistry’

Kelly Clarkson fans who feared her EMMY-winning daytime talk show would keep her way from the studio were relieved in late 2022 when the Pop diva announced that she would release new music in early 2023.

True to her word, Clarkson lifted the lid on two new songs ‘Mine’ and ‘Me’ on Friday (April 14) – the double lead singles from her tenth studio offering, ‘Chemistry‘ (due on digital shelves June 23).

“Having chemistry with someone is an incredible, and overwhelming, feeling. It’s like you have no choice in the matter,” she said about the project’s title. “This album takes you down every path that chemistry could lead you down.”

When dishing about why ‘Mine’ and ‘Me’ were selected to kick off the new era, Kelly – whose highly-publicized divorce was finalized last year – said the two tunes best represented the LP overall.

“We decided to release ‘Mine’ and ‘Me’ at the same time because I didn’t want to release just one song to represent an entire album, or relationship,” she revealed. “There are many stages of grief and loss on this album. Each song is a different stage and emotional state.”

Hear them both inside.

Just days after ‘Chemistry’ hits shelves in June the GRAMMY winner will deliver live renditions of its housed cuts via an exclusive engagement, ‘Chemistry…an Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson,‘ at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas starting Friday (July 28).

To amp up excitement for the LP and the subsequent Sin City residency, Clarkson gave fans a sneak peek at the album’s full tracklist. See it below.

I love both songs but Me sounds like the potential hit song. I can’t wait for the album since Kelly always delivers.

No thank you. I would rather Pink and she’s boring now too.

sorry but both songs are weak af…. It ain’t it Kelly, your fat White ass can do better

  4. True Tea April 15, 2023

A whole lot of screaming on records that go absolutely nowhere. Kelly needs better producers and someone who can write hit records.

I honestly think she should go back to her Rock/POP era because she was more Interesting.

Sounds a lot like the music on Celine’s last album. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Both songs are great. I like “me” better. She sounds great. I’ve always love her voice.
