I’m sorry but not every song should be converted to gospel and as much as I love “Weak” as an R&B song, that’s one song that should have never been converted. God’s love is supposed to make you STRONGER, the complete opposite of weak. The fact that supposed Christians would write and record that version of Weak is just a mess IMO. No complaints about the rest of the list, especially love Mariah’s Fly Like a Bird, such a beautiful song.

Okay, one more complaint, the conversion of Whitney’s Run to You might be even worse than Weak. Why on Earth would anyone need to ask God to please stay and please never take your love away? Christians are taught that God will never leave your side just by nature and that God is a constant that can never change…people walk away from God not vice versa. It’s just a silly conversion IMO. Weak may not be as bad as I initially thought since the song does not literally mean “weak” it moreso means that you find someone’s love so amazing that you are temporarily stunned or in awe. So I guess I retract my criticism of that gospel conversion and recording though I still feel like it wasn’t the best choice.
