Taking to press, Billboard announced that Sheeran’s ‘Subtract’ officially opens at #2 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart.
The set earned 112,000 equivalent album units with 81,000 of them coming from traditional album sales.
As a result of the project opening at #2, it officially becomes his sixth top 10 effort on the charts.
However, it becomes his first album since ‘Plus’ to miss the top of the charts. This week, Sheeran was blocked by Morgan Wallen‘s ‘One Thing At A Time.’
Wallen blocked Sheeran thanks to his 141,000 equivalent album units.
