Shared via the superstar’s Instagram, the announcement read:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow. Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.”

I had an older sister who loved Tina Turner so much. Sadly a falling tree limb took her away from this world at the innocent age of 9 (I was 8). That was almost 30 years ago. I will never forget her lip syncing to some of Tina Turner’s song. Now my sister can finally meet and be with her idol forever. RIP TaNeshia & Tina Turner!

She wasn’t climbing trees..she was actually underneath one..we was at a carnival in the city we live in. She was waiting in line to dunk one of our counselors but a tree limb fell on all of them except the booth and the counselor. It happened out the blue. My sister was the only one who died, alot of our school mates got hurt though but she was the only one who passed away.
