Kylie Minogue is gearing up to make a major career milestone on the UK charts because of her new song, ‘Padam Padam.’

Taking to press, the Official Charts Company shared the updated songs placement for this week’s chart. On the update, ‘Padam Padam’ is pacing for a #21 debut.
With that placement, it would become her highest-debuting single since 2014’s ‘Into The Blue,’ which opened at #12.
While nothing is set in stone, the official results of this week’s singles chart will be unveiled on May 26.
‘Padam Padam’ is Kylie’s first offering from her upcoming studio album ‘Tension.’
Hopefully it will catch on and keep rising. Either way the album is gonna be a strong seller
Why is there this rhetoric everywhere that Padam Padam is an enormous hit and success? Number 26 on the UK charts and 39! on her native Aussie charts is hardly a success…it’s a flop! This is not a troll post and I consider myself a big Kylie fan. But for the past decade she hasn’t been having anywhere near the chart success of the 2000s, and Padam is practically a flop. Let’s hope the album itself goes number 1 when it is eventually released.
