Tensions may be high between Usher and Chris Brown, but that didn’t stop the pair from showing up and showing out at the Lovers & Friends Festival 2023.
The annual extravaganza, which boasts a lineup like no other, returned to Las Vegas Festival Grounds and did not disappoint.
Many wondered if either man would show, following various reports that Brown and his crew jumped Usher at the party the R&B veteran threw…for him.
However, as the age-old adage goes: the show must go on.
And go on it did.
Taking to the stage just before Usher, C. Breezy blazed the stage with a non-stop array of bops – including ‘Loyal,’ ‘Take You Down,’ and ‘Yo (Excuse Me Miss).’
While seasoned chanteur Ush reminded why is the reigning King of R&B with a colossal set comprised of classics such as ‘Yeah,’ ‘Confessions,’ and ‘You Don’t Have To Call.’ The superstar, who performed his new song ‘Glu’ as well, also delivered surprise moments with Summer Walker and Muni Long.

I love this. If all the rumors were true, it speaks to Chris and Ushers character to still put a show on for their fans. However, if it’s true that someone on Chris’ team attacked Usher, they should be fired.
People who want to make a tabloid story more than what it is are the ones who doubted that Chris and Usher would show up, but clearly whatever happened wasn’t enough that the two artists couldn’t be in the same vicinity to perform. Neither one of them appears bothered.
I’m sure they were contractually obligated to perform regardless of what May or may not have happened. It’s called professionalism.
And contracts can be voided. Big names are dropped and replaced from these shows all the time. If they felt like Chris and his people presented the possibility of another altercation he would’ve been booted from the show. Again, nobody is bothered about anything accept the people eating up the gossip and trying to start a feud in the press like they did with Whitney/Mariah and Brandy/Monica. Let it go.
Usher. Should at least file a restraining order or sumthin ..damn

Chris Briwn need to grow the hell up. He look like he stink and is on drugs. Usher started out as a young man as well. Hw need to learn some manners for older people at pave the way.
