The self-proclaimed King of R&B Jacquees found himself in a royal mess over the weekend after reports surfaced he had been arrested in Gwinnett County, GA, on Friday morning (June 23) on charges of simple battery and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.

The ‘At the Club’ hitmaker delivered a different kind of hit when he allegedly began arguing with security at a Georgia establishment called The Local Tap – an altercation that’s said to have led to him choking, kicking, and even biting a female employee.
Just before 9 a.m. the same morning, Quees was released on a $3,700 bond.
The viral mugshot feauring the singer with visible facial injuries (seen above) earned quite a mixed response from social media commenters, ranging from ridicule to worry.
That criticism didn’t seem to faze the 29-year-old, however, as his Instagram stories suggested he was quickly back to business shortly after the incident on his ‘Sincerely for You’ tour designed to support his latest album of the same name.
Once he wraps up his current stretch of Stateside dates in Jacksonville, FL, on July 1, Jacquees will take his talents overseas to The Netherlands, France, Australia, England, and other major global markets as part of the international leg of the trek (with even more dates said to be in the works).
