Tory Lanez will be behind bars for at least 13 years if prosecutors get their way.

The disgraced performer was convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion last December and has been incarcerated since.
A legal bid to overturn the conviction failed and the Canadian-born performer is currently awaiting sentencing.
As of writing, Lanez’s fate will be determined at a hearing next Tuesday (June 13).
Before then, prosecutors are laying out their rationale for why they believe the 30-year-old (born Daystar Peterson) ought to receive 13 years in the slammer.
A memorandum filed on June 6 read:
“Words have power and the pen is oftentimes mightier than the sword. In this case, Daystar Peterson used both. Not content to have hurt the victim by use of his sword (gun), he also used his pen. His online posts for nearly three years have re-traumatized the victim.”
The submission, which functions as a recommendation to the Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David Herriford, continued:
“His online reach is worldwide (millions of followers plus casual observers) and the defendant’s statements embolden his followers so that they too have been complicit in re-traumatizing the victim. He is responsible for the effect of his words and his actions.”

Ughhh!!! Just give him the needle because this saga will never end. Once he’s sentenced he’ll be appealing, and we’ll have to hear about that. Once he loses those appeals he’ll claim excessive racial bias, and we’ll have to hear about that. Then he’ll start reaching out to thirsty blogs from behind bars to spill whatever secrets he knows about any artists, and we’ll have to hear about that. He will NEVER get to the point of acceptance, taking responsibility, and shutting the fcuk up.
