And while her domination of the Billboard Hot 100 has been extensively covered, her reign over the Billboard 200 may be the week’s biggest music story given its historic implications.

The GRAMMY-winning diva landed at #1 on the refreshed Billboard 200 thanks to the gargantuan first-week sales of ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ – 716,000 units shifted to be exact.
The triumph marks the 12th time Taylor’s topped the chart over her nearly 20-year career – surpassing Barbra Streisand for the most among #1s among women on the tally. When all artists are considered, the 33-year-old ties Drake for the third place on the all-time list. In fact, only The Beatles (19) and JAY-Z (14) have more.
The record-breaking news drops alongside reports Tay also became the first woman with four albums in the top 10 simultaneously as well as the first female to place 11 albums on the entire chart at once.

What a joke!! Why would they count re-released versions of the same album? That makes no sense at all. This isn’t organic at all. Barbara Streisand is still number 1 my opinion. Also, Taylor’s music isn’t that great at all. Seems forced and reductive.
