Britney Spears has been a firm fixture in the headlines this week after the superstar was shockingly slapped in the face by the security of San Antonio Spurs player Victor Wembanyama in Las Vegas.
As reported, the performer was attempting to interact with the NBA star when his protective officer struck her.
In the time since, Spears has spoken up – as has Wembanyama – and there were noticeable differences in their accounts of what transpired.
Now, a video of the incident has surfaced which sheds more light on what went down.

It would appear that the video confirms Spears was indeed hit after simply trying to tap Wembanyama. She didn’t, as contrasting accounts claimed, “grab him.”
That said, the clip also appears to confirm that it was her hand that was slapped away – the impact of which led to her own hand landing in her face. Which seems to support the notion that the resulting clash was not intentional on the security’s part.
Per TMZ, police have closed the investigation and no action will be taken.
