Jazmine Sullivan has announced the death of her mom, Pam Sullivan.

Taking to social media moments ago, the GRAMMY Award-winning singer shared the news in an emotional address.
Posting a childhood image of her mother, Sullivan wrote:
“I don’t have the words yet mommy. So for now I’ll say thank you thank you thank you. Rest now butterfly 🦋”
The cause of death hasn’t been shared. However, it’s of note that the songbird opened up about her Mom’s breast cancer diagnosis back in 2019 and unpacked how the experience brought them closer than ever. In 2021, she revealed that Pam had been in remission for six months.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sullivan.
