Swift’s sales have been updated by ChartMasters.org, where her total global sales have been updated to 159,682,000.
In doing so, she passes Whitney Houston, whose sales stand at 158,497,000 and Barbra Streisand whose sales stand at 153,593,000, according to the outlet.
Because of this, she now becomes the fourth best-selling female artist of all time. Only Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Madonna have more.
Madonna still remains the best-selling female artist with 247,542,000 total global sales.
In total, Swift is the 23rd best-selling artist among all genres. Her best-selling album remains ‘1989’ with 26,000,000 copies sold.
