In tandem with a striking cover real, the performer lifted the lid on her EP ‘CiCi’ and confirmed that the seven-song set will be arriving on August 18.
She wrote:

Ciara’s last body of work was 2019’s ‘Beauty Marks,’ which housed global smash ‘Level Up.’

Because Ciara seems like a good person and diligent, I want her to win. The cover is hot, but none of the single drops (including the new one) move the needle. I wish she’d take Russell’s money and experiment with different producers. Perhaps then she can find the groove because everything else is in place…

I’m here for this. Ciara has made herself a household name and to still be going after 20 years in the game, I commend her fr. She has NOTHING to prove at this point. She’s already a Grammy winner and a multimillionaire, a wife, and has 3 kids. She’s living the American dream and still being able to put out music? I see this as a WIN 🏆

Plenty to prove but I think she has shown her time has come and gone. She has 2 solid albums to her name and later on came back with a self titled album that showed promise but never was able to maintain any momentum. She has singles that charted well but made as an artist she made little impact considering the amount of music she was allowed to release, which all flopped. Didn’t Warner give her the masters for the last one just to be done?
