As reported, news of the pair’s separation hit the news wire this summer, confirming months of speculation that the superstar singer and the luxury realtor had called it quits.
In the latest development, Grande – by way of her renowned divorce attorney Laura Wasser – filed first citing the ever-drawn-upon “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for dissolving the union.
Moments later, Gomez did the same.
According to TMZ, the move – while unique – was actually coordinated.
Citing a source close to the situation, the report added that all was hashed out prior to heading to court. Word is that Grande – who reports allege is now dating her ‘Wicked’ co-star Ethan Slater – will “cut [Gomez] a check, and that will be that.”
Nothing new under the Hollywood sun, they get married as fast as they divorce. Ain’t no “for better AND for worst” anymore.
