Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have officially joined the scorching performer lineup for the MTV Video Music Awards 2023.

The ladies, who set the net ablaze with their new single ‘Bongos,’ will continue their musical reunion when taking to the VMAs stage on September 12.
As widely known, the potent pair previously teamed up with mega-smash ‘WAP’ and performed the track – which is now 8x Platinum at the GRAMMYs 2021.
Suffice it to say, all eyes will be on their showing at the Nicki Minaj-hosted extravaganza.
Other performers at the event, which takes place live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, include Minaj, Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award honoree Shakira, Doja Cat, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Anitta, and Demi Lovato.
The 2023 VMAs air Tuesday, September 12 at ET/PT across 180 countries worldwide.

Bongos is a snooze. The visuals are there, but they have to be because lyrically it offers nothing. Cardi could’ve done better, and Meghan sounds the same on every single thing she does. Same flow, same cadence, same vocal inflections. The ladies looked amazing, but Bongos as a song is highly forgettable.
