It’s official. Beyonce‘s ‘Renaissance’ is heading to the big screen.
For, moments ago, Queen Bey announced ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce’ and confirmed its theatrical release in the process.

Fresh from wrapping the final show of her history-making ‘Renaissance World Tour’ in Kansas City, the megastar lifted the veil on the movie by way of a titillating trailer for the long-awaited project.
The flick, which hits AMC Theatres in US December 1 (and is also slated for a global release), will see audiences treated to a riveting look at the creation of the ‘Renaissance’ album and tour, as well as a closeup of its elusive visual component.
The news comes on the heels of reports that revealed that music’s reigning royal hashed out a seismic deal with AMC to bring her vision to cinemas.
So it’s a documentary. Again, anything but a music video 😅

Plus, as far as I’m concerned, I don’t enjoy concerts being mixed with a documentary.
Give us a full documentary really going deep into what it takes to bring this show to life : early meeting, logistics, casting etc.
Separately release the live show. I don’t want to hear a thousands skits about overconsciously deep remarks, it’s about freedom blablabla.
A full documentary about the making of the tour would be nice. Perhaps thats an idea for a dvd release: one disc is the show, the second if the creation of said show. With none of her ridiculous voiceovers, LOL…

She comes across as pretentious sometimes. It just seemed like she wanted to make a quick cash grab from this tour. Your fans have paid for enough from the tour to the merchandise!!
