With days separating music lovers from the October 24 delivery of Britney Spears‘ memoir ‘The Woman in Me,’ it’s certain we’ll see the long-awaited tell-all dominate headlines before and after its release in response to some of its jaw-dropping revelations.
And while her meteoric rise to fame, 13-year conservatorship, relationship with Justin Timberlake, and failed marriages are expected to be addressed in its pages, many are wondering if her two decade-long rivalry with fellow Pop diva Christina Aguilera will be as well.
Among those wondering was late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel who undoubtedly rubbed the ‘Genie In a Bottle’ singer the wrong way Monday (October 16) when he inquired about her thoughts on Spears’ autobiography.

As reported, Aguilera was among the guest on Monday night’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’
On hand to discuss her forthcoming Vegas residency, Xtina filled the interview addressing lighthearted topics like her love for Halloween and Sin City.
Before wrapping up, however, Kimmel took a moment to address Britney’s memoir and even asked Xtina if she thinks a chapter is dedicated to her.
“Am I hoping [a chapter is dedicated to me]? You know I’m hoping that everything is all good with her. I think the future should be celebrated,” the 42-year-old singer said as seen in the video above.
The ambiguous response apparently wasn’t enough for Jimmy as he continued to press the issue.
“If you had to choose between being in it versus not being in it…Cause I would like to be in it,” he quipped to which she responded, “I’d rather it be you than me.”
Kimmel’s question comes as the latest in a string of Britney-related quizzings Christina has fielded over her career, speak less over the last year. In fact, some of her responses have even earned jeers from the ‘Baby One More Time‘ singer herself.
