Besting its previous peak of #21, ‘Water’ has sailed to #18 on the all-genre chart. Here are the numbers that powered Tyla’s inaugural top 20 entry.

She now sits in Billboard history books as the highest-charting South African female act in the 65-year history of the Hot 100.
Among all acts, Hugh Masekela remains the Hot 100’s highest-charting South African overall thanks to his 1968 hit, ‘Grazing in the Grass,’ which peaked at #3 on the tally at the height of its popularity.

The refreshed chart comes just hours after Tyla took to Twitter to confirm the official remix to ‘Water’ is headed to digital shelves soon.
Although she did not confirm who the guest star is, names like Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Latto led the guesses among commenters.
