K. Michelle has long made clear her intention to scooch from R&B to Country. And with the September-released ‘I’m the Problem‘ (her final album in the former genre) in her rearview, the award-winning songstress has saddled up for a ride to Nashville.
Affectionately known by the alter ego ‘Puddin,’ Michelle took to the 57th annual Country Music Awards (CMAs) on Wednesday (November 8) to give the live treatment to her stirring rendition of ‘Love Can Build a Bridge’ (which was featured on the ‘Tribute to the Judds‘ album released in October).
Assisted by one of the night’s top winners, the rising Country star Jelly Roll, look inside to see the thunderous applause the two rightfully earned with their moving homage to the legendary family act (if you missed the action when it first aired).

Go head K-Chell with the transition. You did a great job.
I look forward to your proliferation in the Country Music Scene.
