In a dramatic twist in the ongoing Diddy scandal, the New York Police Department have denied claims that a criminal investigation on the mogul is underway. Specifically, one relating to sexual assault.
As reported, Cassie shocked the world when she filed a bombshell lawsuit alleging that her former flame had raped and physical abused her over the length of their decade-long union.
Sources then claimed that the NYPD were actively looking into the Bad Boy Records founder.
However, that is now being walked back.

TMZ shared a statement issued by the NYPD denying that there is an investigation:
“Yesterday, a member of the NYPD’s public information office erroneously told a reporter about the apparent existence of an active case file containing the name ‘Sean Combs.’ There is no such investigation, at present. Further, the release of such information is not consistent with the internal policies of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information. The NYPD always treats allegations of sexual assault and rape extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so that support and services can be offered to survivors and a comprehensive investigation can be conducted.”

I never trusted anybody who loves attention as much as him. This is only the beginning I bet
If he has abused her, he needs to be investigated and go to prison if he is found guilty.
The obvious first step would be for her to report it to the police and I don’t know if that has or will ever happen. But I agree that’s exactly what he deserves if the claims are true.
