‘Make Her Feel Good’ hitmaker Teairra Mari wanted to make Keri Hilson feel everything but good after the singer-songwriter cryptically brought up their old beef on a recent episode of Tank‘s ‘R&B Money.’

As reported here, Hilson took to the podcast in October to dish about her lengthy musical hiatus, plans to return to the scene, flourishing acting career, and so much more.
During the interview’s popular “I Ain’t Saying No Names” segment, the GRAMMY nominee dished on an unnamed fellow performer who she almost got into a physical altercation with backstage at a concert. To ensure people didn’t think it was her longtime nemesis Beyonce, she referred to the artist as “pretty insignificant at this point.”
And though she was mum about who the alleged combatant was, internet sleuths put together it was likely Mari – a truth the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star confirmed when she went on a rant threatening to “whoop” Keri.

After Teairra took to the comment section of our friends at TNT to call Hilson out for the story, the ‘Energy‘ songstress brought apologetic energy to the conversation.
“Well fellas, I guess the “I Ain’t Sayin No Names” segment didn’t work too well this time…Unfortunately, this did happen around 12-13 years ago. I actually never knew until I saw the previous post that you also told this story publicly. Listen…we were very young in our careers, and I was remembering how I felt when it happened. But I don’t feel a way about this situation now,” Keri said.
As Mari alluded to in her statement above, Hilson went on to confirm the two squashed the beef long before the now-viral ‘R&B Money’ clip.
“Since then, we’ve run into each other, apologized, partied together & gotten past that. I’m responding to this because I don’t wanna allow anything to bring us back to a place we’ve long passed. And since it was a public story that got connected to you in public, it deserves a public apology. I’m sorry for telling the story especially with the energy & hurtful words that I used. It was unnecessary. 🤦🏾♀️ Because my feelings and energy at this point, in this present moment are nothing but love…no ill will or vitriol towards you. It’s an old story that I see now that we’ve both told. I hope you’re doing well in this season & wishing you all the best in life. “
As of time reported, Teairra has not confirmed if she accepts the apology.

LMAO right! Teairra was a super young girl in the business who got played, Keri was a young woman rubbing shoulders with the top producers of her time and she played herself, she needs to exercise some of the sympathy she wants for herself

I had to look elsewhere to understand the whole story. Keri was wrong to talk about this. Just like Pink who was wrong to shade Christina again, you don’t have to answer every question you’re asked in an interview. It’s strange to hear Keri talk about how women are supposed to lift each other up like she didn’t take a shot at Beyonce. That was a recorded song which is worse than this story about Teairra not showing Keri any respect at her show. In the song Keri said, “them other chicks ain’t even worth talkin’ bout,” and that’s the same as calling Teairra irrelevant today, so Keri has really learned nothing. I was excited from seeing Keri on Ne-Yo’s tour earlier this year, but I have no desire now for new music from her.
